Facts about this coffee: Cooperativa Agraria Cafetalera Valle Rio Apurimac, or CACVRA, is located in the Ayacucho region along the river valley Apurimac. This cooperative consists of approximately 1500 members, and members produce both Fair Trade Organic coffee and cocoa as viable alternatives to the cultivation of coca. The coop has been certified to organic standards since 2000 and to Fair Trade standards since 2003. Coffee is grown on small farms—less than 5 hectares—and under a vast canopy alongside avocadoes, oranges, and other fruit trees. Altitude of 1300-1800 meters. Most farms have their own small washing station and drying patios, and the cooperative employs several technicians who are constantly visiting and working with the farmers to ensure quality and consistency.

We do not recommend pre-grinding coffee.
It is best if you grind right before you brew.
Once the bean is cracked you start losing the gases that
create that great aroma and rich flavor.
However, if you prefer, MOCC will be happy to provide your choice of grinds. |
