Kenya French Mission Bourbon $15.50

French Mission is an original Bourbon varietal that was introduced by French Missionaries in the late 1800s. Grown at 4996 feet. with over 30 inches of rain a year, combined with the deep red volcanic soil and temperatures of 72 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit, provides the perfect conditions for this coffee to express its genetic treasures.

Fully washed, African Screen Beds, Sun Drying.

Cupping Notes: Your mouth will have to pay attention to catch everything that is there: berry, winey, coconut finish, lemon, crème brulee, tropical fruit, exotic spice, papaya, chocolate, very unique.

Chania Estate owned by the Harries family has been growing coffee for almost a century. The family has donated more than 50 acres of land to the Thika Municipal Council and co-founded the Wabeni Technical Institute. This institute seeks to teach underprivileged children practical skills that can help them make a living; e.g. dress making, motor mechanics, and carpentry.

Available Options: We do not recommend pre-grinding coffee. It is best if you grind right before you brew. Once the bean is cracked you start losing the gases that create that great aroma and rich flavor. However, if you prefer, MOCC will be happy to provide your choice of grinds.
